If you are trying to ‘go green’ and ‘eat clean’, this is the smoothie for you!
In a blender combine:
1/2 cup green grapes frozen (could add 2-3 cubes of ice if your grapes aren’t frozen)
1/2 -1 apple (green apple is best for waist line)
1 celery stick
juice from 1/2 lime

Our house sits in the middle of an old apple orchard, but the trees no longer produce anything worthwhile. However, we eat a LOT of apples at our house (An apple a day… well, you know the rest). I prefer Honeycrisp apples, while my wife prefers Red Delicious. Funny, my usual afternoon snack is a Honeycrsip apple and almond butter!

This is a good reminder to pop some grapes in the freezer! I’ve not done that! We keep frozen other fruit in the freezer–just not grapes!
Frozen grapes are a Fun treat! Especially in the summer!
